THE EXECUTIVE JOB MARKET IS MOVING

At long last, we can see the Executive job market is moving in the right direction, with more mandates than we have seen for a long while. With this great news comes some caution, however, the market is highly competitive with many applications being received for each job published. In fact, in some cases, between 200-500 applications per role.

So, what does that mean for the Executive job seeker? It means you MUST have a robust CV and be able to stand out from the crowd. It should tell a strong story full of achievements and value. There must be key words easily identifiable to AI and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), as well as grabbing the attention of the “gatekeeper”.

Secondly, your mindset needs to be strong and focussed, confident of your achievements, success and able to articulate them clearly and concisely.
